This Privacy Policy describes how MELD: AI World Kitchen Recipes ("MELD", "we", "our", or "us"), developed and operated by Faruk Sevük, collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
MELD uses Google's Gemini API to generate fusion recipes and food imagery. Prompts sent to the AI include your preference selections but do not include your name, email, or personally identifiable information. For disclaimers regarding AI content accuracy and food safety, see our Terms of Service.
Recipes are generated by AI under the MELD brand. We may feature saved recipes — anonymously, without your name, email, or any account identifier — in the public "Meld Book," a community gallery of notable AI-generated fusion recipes on our website. Recipes shared via a share link are likewise viewable by anyone who has the link. No personal information is attached to a publicly displayed recipe. Because the Meld Book is a lasting community gallery, an anonymized recipe that has been added to it may remain publicly viewable even after you delete your own saved copy or your account. Free-tier users may be shown advertisements by Google AdMob, which may use your advertising identifier for personalized ads.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we present a consent message (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before serving personalized advertising, and we serve ads only in accordance with your choice. You can review or change your consent at any time from within the App.
Premium subscribers are not shown third-party advertisements.
In the event that MELD or its assets are acquired, merged with, or transferred to another company — including through a sale, acquisition, merger, reorganization, or bankruptcy — your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent in-app notice before your personal information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy. You will have the opportunity to opt out where required by applicable law.
No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
MELD is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us at monarc.devs@gmail.com if you believe we have inadvertently collected such information.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. Our service providers operate globally. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.

Delete your account anytime via Profile → Delete Account in the App, or visit our Account Deletion page. A 3-day grace period applies before permanent deletion.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
